Motorola has set the stage for a new era of smartphone innovation with the global launch of its latest offerings, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion. These cutting-edge handsets, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets and Pantone-validated displays and cameras, promise to redefine the mobile experience for users worldwide.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra stands out with its triple rear camera unit, while the Edge 50 Fusion boasts two rear cameras, catering to diverse user preferences. Both models were introduced alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, which recently made its debut in India. Priced at Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant in India, the Edge 50 Pro features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit, and a 68W charger in the box.

Pricing and Availability

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra comes with a starting price of EUR 999 (roughly Rs. 88,900), while the Edge 50 Fusion is priced at EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 35,900). These handsets are set to hit select markets across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Oceania region in the coming weeks. However, Motorola is yet to announce plans for their launch in India.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra offers a choice between Forest Grey and Peach Fuzz shades, featuring a vegan leather finish and a third Nordic Wood pattern. On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes in Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue colorways with vegan leather backs, along with a Forest Blue option sporting a Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) finish.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,500 nits of peak brightness, and a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. Running on Android 14-based Hello UI, it offers seamless performance and enhanced user experience.

In the camera department, the Edge 50 Ultra features a versatile setup, including a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter with up to 3x optical zoom. The front camera boasts a 50-megapixel sensor for stunning selfies.

With a 4,500mAh battery and support for 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, the Edge 50 Ultra ensures long-lasting power and quick recharge times. It also offers dual 5G, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and a range of connectivity options.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of peak brightness. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, it offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. Running on Android 14-based Hello UI, it delivers smooth performance and intuitive user interface.

Featuring a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, the Edge 50 Fusion captures stunning images. The front camera houses a 32-megapixel sensor for high-quality selfies.

Backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging support, the Edge 50 Fusion ensures reliable performance throughout the day. It also offers 5G connectivity, IP rating for dust and water resistance, and a suite of connectivity options.
