Rumors surrounding the upcoming OnePlus 13 are already swirling online, offering a glimpse into what enthusiasts can anticipate from the flagship phone expected to debut later this year. Most recently, a tipster on Weibo has shed light on the display specifications of the handset, hinting at some intriguing upgrades.

According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, OnePlus is currently testing the OnePlus 13 with a 6.8-inch micro-curved LTPO screen boasting a 2K resolution. This suggests continuity in display size compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, but with potential enhancements in overall display quality.

One notable upgrade speculated for the OnePlus 13 is the inclusion of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, marking a departure from the optical scanner seen in previous models. Additionally, the handset is rumored to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, promising improved performance and efficiency over its predecessor.

Past leaks have also teased a new design for the OnePlus 13, alongside a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup. Reports suggest this camera unit could feature a 50-megapixel main camera, complemented by an ultrawide lens and a periscope telephoto sensor, enhancing the device’s photography capabilities.

The OnePlus 13 is slated to officially debut towards the end of this year, boasting high-end internals compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 12. Launched in January with a starting price of Rs. 64,999 in India for the base model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the OnePlus 12 already set a high standard for performance and features.

To recap, the OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display and runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It sports a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 camera, along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The device is fueled by a robust 5,400mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging technology, ensuring swift and efficient power replenishment. As anticipation builds for the OnePlus 13, fans eagerly await further details and an official unveiling from OnePlus.
